The Mivaran clans are a diverse, scattered and primarily nomadic people united by a common code and belief system. They consider themselves the oldest human colony in existence, and the longest running independent faction from Earth. While possessing a large population they are spread across hundreds of ships, planets and asteroids amongst hundreds of separate family based clans. A typifying point of Mivara culture is how each member is trained to excel in a specific role within the society, where at the age of 10 children are trained to take up a profession which for the rest of their life they must master for the good of the clan.
